In October, STAS proudly took part in ALUMINIUM 2024, one of the largest gatherings for the global aluminium industry, held in Düsseldorf, Germany. Our team engaged with international professionals, explored groundbreaking trends, and showcased STAS’s innovations, all while strengthening connections within the industry.
This year’s event was a notable success for STAS:
- Engaging Booth Experience: Our booth became a focal point for visitors, with consistent traffic throughout the event. One of the main attractions was our barista robot, while we introduced Québec specialties, offering attendees a unique and memorable experience.
- Recognition for Leadership: We are especially proud of Kathleen Leblanc, who was recognized as one of the five international finalists in the Young Leader category at the prestigious Aluminium Awards, presented by Women with Metal.
- Launch of the BATSCAN®: A key highlight of our participation was the launch of the BATSCAN®, our innovative system designed for continuous inclusion monitoring in molten metal. This technology, developed by Constellium and brought to life by STAS, attracted significant interest, reinforcing STAS’s position as a key innovator in process improvement and quality control within the industry.
Beyond these highlights, the event provided an invaluable platform for exchanging ideas and exploring new collaborations. The positive impact of our presence at Aluminium 2024 is just beginning, and we look forward to leveraging these new opportunities in the months ahead.
